But being outdated does not mean you are payed less. Is out there any outdated technology? Of course not. Finally, the teams are aligned and delivering with the same delay. The Orange team is a slow team but because of reusing App (A) manages to deliver the App (B) (5.000 lines of code) in just two months. The blue team, the fast team, needs 5 months to develop 20.000 lines of code. ![]() We have two separate teams developing two Apps (A) and (B). This chart explains what is really happening. The team provides the solution but after that causes problems. The applications lifecycle is strongly related to humans. Application is dead and the team is a zombie team. The application maintenance is like a curse. The application is a dark room where nobody wants to enter and nobody can find the exit. Now, imagine the same team 10 years after.
